O.J. Swanigan serves as Co-Pastor of The Light Christian Church, alongside his wife, Pastor DeLesa Swanigan. Pastors O.J. and DeLesa have been married 38 years and have two amazing sons, Orintheo and Olan, a beautiful daughter-in-law, Kesia, and two beautiful grandchildren, Onna and Omari.

As an anointed, visionary, and strategic leader, Pastor O.J. is truly a blessing to the body of Christ. He has the incredible ability to share the Word of God with boldness, power, and simplicity. As such, God has commissioned Pastor O.J. to teach, challenge, and exhort the body of Christ to wholeheartedly walk in their divine purpose and fulfill the destiny God has assigned to their lives. Pastor O.J. understands that as individuals commit to walking in obedience to what God has called them to do, God’s manifested word and blessings become evident in their lives and inspire others to follow. Therefore, Pastor O.J.’s purpose is to teach practical, life-transforming, biblical principles designed to “Raise up a generation to walk in their purpose and fulfill their destiny.”

An Apostolic anointing has been declared over Pastor O.J.’s life, and, as such, he serves as a mentor and spiritual advisor to numerous pastors, ministers, leaders, and men. Towards that end, Pastor Swanigan leads the Men of Divine Destiny (M.O.D.D.) Ministry in his local church. Through this ministry, men learn how to take their rightful places in their homes and communities and be the visionaries and leaders God has called them to be. He also teaches biblical leadership principles to entrepreneurs and business owners.

Pastor O.J. holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from the Sacramento Theological Seminary, where he graduated Salutatorian. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Transformational Leadership from Bethel University in Arden Hills, MN. He frequently ministers locally and nationally at churches, conferences, and other events.

Most of all, Pastor O.J. is an anointed, Spirit-filled man of God who walks in his purpose and is committed to fulfilling his destiny.
