Wayne Kirkling migrated to Sacramento, California over 36 years ago from
Chattanooga, Tennessee with his wife of 44 years of marriage. He has two
daughters and a granddaughter. He graduated from Tennessee State
University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Business. He
retired from one of the largest companies in northern California, A Teichert &
Sons after working there for over 32 years as their property administrator and
supervisor. He managed the company’s properties as far north as Nevada to
as far south as Fresno, CA. developing the best financial business use of the
properties. He is a State Certified California Residential Manager. He
Completed 40 hours of Coaching Experience from Positive Impact
Corporation. He is currently the Executive Pastor of COP where he oversees
the staff, operations, Financials, and the integrity of the church. He has his
certificate of Ordination for the Gospel of the Ministry and also a Certificate of
Completion from the Church Chaplaincy Academy. He has served on the
Church Advisory Council Board for over 12 years and is a past chair of the
Advisory Council. He has served on several nonprofit boards such as the
Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps Board for over 19 years where he
was chair of the board and also the Sacramento Metro Chamber. He is a
servant leader at heart that loves the Lord and loves His people and is
enjoying the best years of his life serving at COP.
