For over four decades Elder Richard Spencer has devoted his life to God, his family and his community. He has been in the church from conception being a child of a Bishop. He seeks to let his light shine that others may come to know Christ Jesus through his daily actions of love and kindness. Elder Spencer has served in ministry at just about every level in the church from Sunday School teacher, Bus Driver, Sunday School Superintendent, Minister, Missionary, Youth Pastor, Deacon, Pastoral Aid, you name it. Elder Richard Spencer currently has the pleasure of serving at the Center of Praise Ministries under the exceptional Leadership of Bishop Lovelace and his beautiful wife Lady Di. He serves as the Leader of the Congregational Care Team alongside his wife.

The Congregational Care Team, which consists of Deacons, Deaconesses, Chaplains and Ministers of the church, who utilize their combined years of training, skills, experience to love and care for the members and friends of the Center of Praise family, as the Bishop himself would with excellence. Elder Richard Spencer is a Professional Civil engineer who is certified both in the United States of America and Canada. He currently works full time as a design engineer for a large engineering firm building cities in the Sacramento region. In 2012 Elder Richard Spencer was honored with his official Recognition and Ordination certification and training as a Pastor from his home church in Toronto Canada. His educational accomplishment includes a Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree, from Ryerson University in Toronto Canada. Elder Richard Spencer is the husband of the Lovely Elder Toyin Spencer and proud parents of two wonderful children. Elder Spencer enjoys playing and coaching basketball, reading, traveling, exercising and spending time with his family and friends.
