Professor Chesarae Fletcher has served as a Christian educator in the Sacramento area for over twenty years. Her joy is creating culturally safe spaces for authentic faith experiences. Professor Fletcher has an MA in Theological Studies and also an MA in Biblical Studies. She is a Fall 2023 graduate candidate for her DMin in Spirituality and Leadership from Portland Seminary and is simultaneously completing a Ph.D. in Theology and Religion at the University of Birmingham, UK. Her study focus is on Altar Theology and its role in Pentecostal traditions. She has been married to retired attorney Jeffrey Fletcher for over 24 years. They have eight children.
