Dr. Chesarae Fletcher is a Risk Data Analyst at BETA Healthcare Group. She teaches listening as a spiritual practice for the Spiritual Direction program at the Compass Center for Spiritual Formation. Her course equips emerging spiritual directors to cultivate deep attentiveness to God and to others. She also leads Leadership Listening workshops for faith-based, corporate, and healthcare organizations where she helps leaders integrate reflective listening into organizational culture, decision-making, and relational care.

Chesarae holds a DMin degree, and an MA degree in Integrative Theology from George Fox University, and also an MA degree in Biblical Studies from Epic Graduate School. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Theology and Religion, at the University of Birmingham.

Chesarae and her husband, Jeffrey Fletcher, have been married for twenty-seven years and live in Sacramento, California, where they have raised their eight children. She serves at The Center of Praise Ministries located in Sacramento, Ca.
