Dr. Dene’ Starks-McGee is an educator, author, radio/podcast producer, and transformative speaker who specializes in working with other professionals to find innovative and sustainable ways to transform lives through teaching and learning. While working as a manager for a large insurance organization, Dr. Dene’ realized the need for small businesses to enhance their technical skills to start, grow, and elevate their businesses. As a result, DJS Marketing & Business Solutions was founded in 2015, which has since been converted to DJS Business Solutions, LLC. Dr. Dene’ currently serves as Business Consultant and Technical Assistance Facilitator to the Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Centers, and the US Department of Agriculture.

Dr. Dene’ has a proven track record of building strong corporate and community relationships as well as creating and implementing innovative programs and services. Dene’s published works include “What’s Next?” A Next Level Guide to Marketing, Misguided: A Journey to Self-Love and Self-Discovery, and “In Him We Have Hope” A Guided Grief Journal. Dr. Dene’ serves as a college professor, facilitator of governance workshops, and offers strategic planning for organizations.

Dr. Dene’s professional experience includes developing community and economic development programs with a focus on leadership development, workforce development, change management, and compliance monitoring. In 2019, Dr. Dene’ was awarded the Community Impact Award from the Sacramento Tapestry for her passion and extensive work transforming lives in the community. Of all her accomplishments, her greatest accomplishment was accepting the Lord Jesus Christ and the call on her life to teach and preach the unadulterated truth of the gospel. Dr. Dene’ is a licensed evangelist who has been afforded the opportunity to speak at various conferences, services, and workshops. Dr. Dene’ is unapologetically unashamed of her relationship with Jesus Christ and uses faith based and non- faith-based platforms as an opportunity to express her faith in Christ and encourage other believers to go out into the marketplace and pursue all that God has for them!
