Mike Casper is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Improve Your Tomorrow (IYT), a nonprofit dedicated to closing the college opportunity gap and improving life outcomes for young men of color. A Sacramento native and first-generation college graduate, Mike earned his B.A. in Organizational Communication and MBA from Sacramento State.

In 2013, he and co-founder Michael Lynch launched a mentorship program serving 17 students. Today, IYT has grown into a national organization reaching over 6,300 “Brothers” across 110 schools in six states.

Guided by a deep sense of purpose and a belief in the power of education, Mike has led IYT through a decade of growth, innovation, and measurable impact. His leadership in education equity has earned recognition as a Top 20 Black Change Maker (Sacramento Bee) and a 40 Under 40 honoree (Sacramento Business Journal).

Mike is married to his high school sweetheart and is a proud father of four daughters.
