Pastor La Vetta Coleman
Pastor La Vetta Coleman was licensed and ordained a minister of the gospel by Bishop Parnell M. Lovelace , Jr., D. Min., Ph.D. in 2005 and served as grief recovery facilitator and overseer of the Ministry of Helps until relocating to Alabama in 2006 . Upon her return to California she served in ministry with her two sons, Pastor Anthony Perkins, (Harmony MBC, Oakland, CA) and the late Pastor Walter Brandon, Jr. (Tabernacle of MBC, San Francisco, CA).
Pastor La Vetta has served as a Community Chaplain for the Sacramento Law Enforcement Chaplaincy; she is a graduate of Gateway Theological Seminary; the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College; a 2020 graduate of Wesley Seminary with a Masters in Christian Ministry and Leadership, and is a doctoral candidate of African American Ministry at Biola University, La Mirada, CA.
She is the co-founder and facilitator of H2H: From Hurting 2 Healing Grief Support Ministry. Presently she serves at Center of Praise Ministries as Director of Bereavement and Pastoral Care under Bishop Parnell M. Lovelace, Jr., D. Min.,
Ph. D. Pastor La Vetta loves the Lord with all her heart and believes that the best way to love and serve Him is to love and serve others.
